Polished Mumei ShinShinTo Tanto with Horimono ( engravings )

Signature: Mumei
Year Made: 1800s

Forging Pattern:  Ko-Itame
Tempering Pattern:  Suguha
Dimensions:   Nagasa:   8 1/4″, Nakago:  2 3/4″, Mihaba:  15/16″,  Kasane:  7/32″, Sori:  1/16″ 
Mountings:  The blade is in a nice, solid shirasaya and has a nice one piece copper habaki.
Overall Condition:  The blade is in excellent polish with no flaws.  There is a well carved horimono.
